Lake Eola Proposal and Photography Session

I’m still a tad emotional about this beautiful proposal at Lake Eola Park last Friday. When Matt first contacted me about taking engagement photos for him, I imagined a typical engagement photography shoot with fun poses and dreamy eyes.

But then Matt told me that this was no ordinary engagement session. Matt was actually going to propose to his girlfriend during the photo shoot.

Ahhhhhh! I was so excited!

Matt picked a stunning location at Lake Eola Park, where he and his girlfriend had visited years before, and we worked out a code phrase so he would know when it was time to pop the question.

I practiced saying, “I love the lighting here" about a million times so it would come off as casually as possible. I may have been almost as nervous as Matt!

But everything was perfect.

Matt proposed to his girlfriend, Caroline, and she said . . . YES.

They were smiling and crying, and you know what? I was too. It was absolutely beautiful, and I am so excited for the life these two lovebirds have ahead of them.
